June outing this weekend

This weekend is our June outing at the Millcreek &/or Peekaboo claims. Access to some areas requires walking or smaller vehicles, there is still some road difficulty. Brandon will be unavailable to attend this weekend. Matt will also be out of town, so depending on what plans other club officers have, it may be a weekend of working things out yourself. If you're not finding anyone, stick to the claim description & instructions in the claims guide. Also - there is often some controversy about "being on the wrong claim". Every few years there seems to be someone on our claim, or we're on someone else's, or nobody claimed the claim they claimed, or claimed aliens stole their shovel, all kinds of claims get made about the claims. It is not unusual for someone approaching you about being on the wrong claim to not be on the right claim themselves. If you have any such encounters, please work it out w/ the individual with as much patience and grace as possible. We're all in this together, and it does no one any good to be arguing and worse over which plot of God's earth the BLM says is "ours". Heavy pans, Dave
